First advance notice
for new storytelling training for the
Lexington Spellbinders storytelling group,
for intergenerational storytelling in our public schools, 3 day free training to be held about the middle of June.
This national group, has a very active chapter in Lexington, where Mary Hamilton and Cynthia Changaris have both been past trainers.
We volunteer to give several hours of telling each month, and are eager to spread the fun and excitement of telling to children to others.
This is sponsored by the Lexington Public Library, contact Greg Davis, (859) 231 - 5554 or email
gdavis@lexpublib.org
Or Paschal Baute. (859) 293 - 5302 for more information.
If you don't live in Central Kentucky but want to explore this volunteer opportunity for your local community, consider taking the training and talking to Greg Davis and many in our local Spellbinders group. Our group is now five years old and we tell stories in almost 40 of our public schools, and coming up soon, also to our summer daycamps.
Thanks for listening.
